My New Mission and Three Vows of Sincerity
By: David Eric Allen (aka Mr. E)
“Supreme Sincerity Evokes Resonance” is a Taoist Proverb that I like to repeat over and over in my head while traveling.
I would like to define the word “Bodhisattva” in the terms of Buddhism for those who are unaware.
- To me it can have two meanings –
1. “Anyone who has dedicated their entire life to enlightening others”
2. “A Buddha-to-be”
a. For those unaware, anyone can become a “Buddha” if they aspire to do so.
Before Jesus Christ there was no Christianity, and before Muhammad there was no Islam.
After thinking long and hard, I have come to an important hypothesis.
I believe Jesus Christ and Muhammed could have actually been followers of Buddhism and therefore would have been considered “Bodhisattvas” in their own respective times.
Is this so hard to consider since you now know the definition of “Boddhisattva”?
Christianity is now close to 2000 years old and Islam is now around 1300 years old, yet Buddhism is older than both by about 600 years.
As a history major, one of the most important things that I learned is that it is impossible as an historian to be 100% objective in recording history. You can be close, but never 100%. With that said, is it possible that over the course of the past 2000 years and 1300 years respectfully some of the original writings in the Bible and Qur’an could have been lost or re-written by historians who wanted to hide aspects of Buddhism or even Hinduism?
I think this is definitely a possibility.
Islam and Christianity share their origins in the Abrahamic tradition, as does Judaism. Islam accepts many aspects of Christianity as part of its faith - sometimes with differences in interpretation.
Islam teaches that Jesus (Isa) was the second most important prophet (after Muhammad).
According to Muslims, Jesus was a human prophet who brought mankind to a closer relationship with God and each other.
The whole notion that we are immortal enemies is ridiculous and has been carefully planned by certain humans over the course of history for their own specific benefits.
Both religions were initially established on the ideals of “Peace, Love, and Understanding.”, but now we try to spread them through fear. Fear of the unknown, fear of being outcast, and fear of going to hell. Hopefully, this will change with the removal of ignorance in all societies.
Throughout history, Popes, Kings, Clerics, and Shahs have manipulated or “spun” the Bible and Qur’an to call for Holy Wars on other religions.
The “Crusades” were fought to “cleanse” men of their sins in Christianity, but in reality it was nothing more then mass genocide, raiding of wealth, and a temporary transferring of power.
Both religions must rededicate themselves to their initial values.
On the other hand, a massive global superpower is not invading, bombing, and destroying the majority of the Judeo-Christian world like we are doing to the Muslim world.
As an individual who was born a Christian, it pains me to see this take place. I have committed myself and all at my disposal to the objective mission of stopping this genocidal “Crusade” and re-establishing Peace within the world.
“All truth passes through three stages.
First, it is ridiculed.
Second, it is violently opposed.
Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.” ~
German philosopher Arthur Schopenhauer (1788-1860)
To demonstrate my sincerity for this documentary and volunteering trip, as well as my research into this subject, I have chosen to make and stick to 3 vows until absolute peace prevails.
1. I will not eat red or white meat (unless someone makes it for me unknowingly I will eat it out of respect, and I will eat fish but only if I catch it myself).
2. I will not smoke or drink or take any drugs (prescription or not, unless it is absolutely necessary for my health) into my body that will hamper my ability whatsoever to perform this mission at hand.
3. I will become 100% celibate and will wait for any type of sexual contact until the day of my marriage (if that ever comes).
As of right now, these vows have came into immediate effect.
A man cannot truly know himself, unless he has learned to conquer all temptations in life.
I hope that others will follow in my footsteps in order to stand up for Peace, but it is not necessary.
I am prepared to hold this burden on my shoulders alone if need be.Don’t just say it. Do it.
Make a change in your life for the better and it will make the world a better place as well.
Don’t consider it a boring life, consider it a bold life.
Find the similarities that connect us all, not the differences.
Over the course of the next year of my journey, I will be studying the Bible, the Qur’an and various Buddhist texts to find out the similarities between each religion. Whether it was removed 500,1000, or 1500 years ago, it could have happened and probably did.
Even though I was born a Christian, I grew up a skeptic. I was never baptized, nor did I read the Bible more then what was absolutely required. This will allow me to form the most objective opinion as possible when reading and studying both books…
In order for us to become a better world and society, the Bible and Qur’an’s history, as well as our world’s history, must be re-written. Hopefully, this will help remove the ignorance and usher in a new time period of Peace.
“Love conquers all and the truth shall set us free…”

Ron, have you ever stopped an thought that maybe Christians and Muslims both worship the same God, but have found different people to lead them to him?
Jesus and Muhammed were both just men... They were not Gods themselves...
