Wow! Interesting story and perspective. Somewhat horrifying as well. While I agree with certain parts of this article, it sounds to me that the writer was surrounded by worse than normal people/relationships. I live in and grew up in NYC and while many, many of my friends' parents have been/gotten divorced, I've never been around so many young women who have been sexually abused by their families as the author seems to have been.
