Syria is probably next which will spill over into Lebanon and then the finale will be Iran.

There goes an old saying.

“Believe half of what you see and nothing of what you hear.”

Well next time you’re watching a sunset, get your trusty compass out and take a look at where it ends up. You will see that it sets far due north-west of where it should be.

If you only believe half of that, gaze up at the Southern Cross. Instead of where it normally is, you’ll find it south-east.

Then when you’re done scratching your head, go inside and take out a Moon chart then take a look at the Moon. Compare the pre-eclipse Moon of December 2010 to now and you will notice a 90 degree tilt has occurred.

No, I’m not clinically insane. Many people around the world are equally as baffled and are seeking answers.

The above video illustrates the concerns of the Inuit people in the Arctic who, like all native hunters, use the positioning of the Sun and stars to navigate.

One them, Inookie Adamie, says “I have lived here all my life and have watched the Sun…where [the Sun] rises has not changed much but the sunset has shifted way over.”

Over the other side of the world in the United Kingdom, a man shows us how by using his compass he can observe that the Sun is setting in the far north-west (quite a way out from where it should be).

Across the Atlantic, a north Minnesota man wrote to the site Rumour Mill News.com about this anomaly. He was driving home looking at the sunset when he noticed that something was very wrong.

“I began telling my wife everything is wrong here,” the former US Navy pilot said. “The Sun is way north of where it should be at sunset.” He goes on to plead for readers to prove him wrong.

It’s worrying enough that NASA (or any other reputable space agency) hasn’t addressed this, but when did all of this happen exactly?

At what point did this monumental transformative anomaly take place?

Something that is disturbing food for thought is that in the time immediately after the December 2010 eclipse, mass fish, bird, seal, whale and cow die-offs began occurring.

Despite the occasion instance of the respective cooling and warming ocean temperatures in some parts of the world, scientists could offer no explanation whatsoever to the public.

But when the positioning of the Sun, Moon and stars is askew, that tells us something far more alarming.

Either the Earth’s tilt has changed dramatically (which you’d assume we’d notice), or something has changed the physical orbit of the Sun and Moon.

This is bizarre stuff, I know. It’s something reserved for conspiracy forums and late night banter, but unlike the ‘theories’ this is fact. It’s physical, tangible and plainly visible to the naked eye.

Not just here in Australia, but to every single person around the planet. That said, it’s worth asking where the media is on this one.

Feel free to try and debunk me on this. While you’re at it hopefully you’ll put everyone else’s mind at rest too.

Vancouver riot: the other side of the ugliness

VANCOUVER — For anyone feeling post-riot despair over what British Columbians are capable of, I have an antidote.

His name is Bert Easterbrook. He was beaten bloody for his bravery.

The 32-year-old photographer and care worker for severely disabled people had been watching Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final at the Cannabis Culture Vapour Lounge near Gastown, close to the city’s harbour. When he went outside for fresh air, he saw smoke rising from the city core.

“I sent my girl to go hide out in the truck and keep her safe and ran out to get some pictures,” he says. “That’s when I saw a bunch of people being stupid.”

The grandson of a Vancouver policeman, Easterbrook waded into the crowd on Georgia Street near the main post office to help police hold their line. A nearby car was being doused with accelerant, and rioters were rocking a green pickup truck to roll it over.

“Me and a couple other guys said, ‘This is not cool,’ and decided to step in,” he says.

Video taken at the scene shows Easterbrook and at least three other men holding the hooligans — one of whom was bashing the truck’s hood with a hammer — at bay as smoke begins to cloud the vehicle interior from a wad of burning paper thrown inside.

“I just grabbed (the paper) and threw it out,” says Easterbrook, a 6-foot-2, 255-pound karate expert who also works as a security guard for pro-marijuana rallies in Vancouver.

All around, people began chanting, “Burn the truck! Burn the truck!”

When a rioter shoved him and tossed the flaming paper back into the vehicle, Easterbrook smashed him with a forearm. “It’s too bad I ended up having to level somebody,” he says. “I don’t like to have to do that. I had to put him down fast.”

The blow focused the mob’s fury on Easterbrook. “They’re all screaming, ‘He’s an effin’ cop, get him!’ I just protected the camera and grabbed the closest body and went down with him.”

Other footage shows a sea of rioters converging over Easterbrook, battering him with kicks and punches. “I went down face-first. They were all dog-piled on my back,” he says. Hundreds of onlookers cheered the attackers, while police pushed into the mob. Officers began pulling the assailants away, and Easterbrook was able to stand, blood running down his bald head.

Easterbrook, of New Westminster, B.C., saw the 1994 Cup riot, and came away from this one impressed with the police. “In ’94, the cops started it. This year it was the fans. The cops did an amazing job. I kept thanking officers on the way to go find my girlfriend.”

A burned hand kept him off his care-worker job for two days, and he has cuts, bruises and contusions all over.

Easterbrook’s longtime friend, Cannabis Culture magazine editor Jodie Emery, says the hulking photographer displayed the qualities that make him ideal as a security guard during marijuana rallies. “He’s really tough, but he’s really, really gentle,” Emery says. “He’s a super soft-spoken sweetheart. He can’t stand disrespect, and violence is not his thing.”

Acts of heroism occurred throughout the mayhem. One of the men with Easterbrook at the truck later confronted rioters smashing two police cars a couple blocks eastward, until he was forced to run headlong from a bloodthirsty pack of pursuing goons: man in the green shirt and surf trunks, your courage was truly amazing. High praise, too, to John Marchenko, who stood off crazed idiots bashing an overturned car with everything from skateboards to a crowbar; to the men in front of The Bay, including Robert MacKay, who were attacked while trying to prevent looting; to the dozen men and women who linked arms into a protective chain around a man beaten to the ground on Georgia Street, and to all those whose bravery went unnoticed and unrecorded.

You are the other side of the riot coin, the side that shines, and reminds us that in our anger and disappointment, we need not despair. Inside the riot, the morons were many and the heroes were comparatively few. But those who support what the idiots did are but a thin, rotten slice of our society.

We who applaud the heroes are legion.

Mandatory DNA sampling threatens constitutional liberties.

In 2007 a Tennessee law was passed, as many bad laws are, in response to a horrific crime.

Johnia Berry was murdered in 2004. Her parents asked then state Sen. Ron Ramsey to consider working with a national DNA database to assist in a stalled investigation. He introduced a bill mandating collection of DNA samples from those arrested for violent felonies. In addition to Tennessee, 23 states have adopted similar legislation.

This year, Ramsey, now Tennessee's lieutenant governor, wants to expand mandatory collection to persons arrested for any felony via TN SB 257. Supporters contend this collection is no different from the photographing and fingerprinting to which felony arrestees are currently subject.

Detractors appeal to the Fourth and Fifth amendments to the U.S. Constitution and question requiring citizens to surrender a part of "their person" for a criminal case which might "[compel him] ... to be a witness against himself" as well as being deprived of his "property" without "due process."

If charges are dropped or the accused is not convicted, the sample is destroyed. Detractors see this as an acknowledgment of the bill's weakness. If the criteria for sample retention is a conviction, why not delay collection until then?

Additionally, there is significant distrust that samples are safe in the custody of government. Ramsey notes as many as 15 percent of the samples may be subject to destruction. Will these merely be stored until the donor's case is decided or might they be compared against other databases in the meantime for potential matches to other crimes?

Who collects, processes, stores and destroys them? Ramsey is confident the law's criminal penalties for mishandling samples are a sufficient safeguard against misuse. Others remain suspicious of government's record as a watchdog for individual rights.

Such suspicions may be downplayed until one learns of the development of a portable, high-speed DNA scanner and plans by the federal government to hand the technology over to the Transportation Security Administration. Controversies surrounding TSA's use of technology and clashes with the liberties of citizens are well publicized.

Handing over portable, high-speed DNA testing devices to TSA can only lead to an exponential increase in the potential for the disregard of individual liberties.

Wow, this video is scary. The man is recording some police officers from his own garage and some thug cop out of nowhere walks up to him and tries to steal his phone under the obvious lie it's "evidence."

"I'ma take the phone... 'cuz that's gonna be evidence... (Man refuses)... You want to go to jail?... Withholding evidence."

It's clear from the way he's acting it's pure brazen intimidation and thuggery.

VALLEJO (CBS 5) — The Vallejo Police Department is under scrutiny after a man was handcuffed and cited for recording four people being arrested near his home. [...]

While Duchine was recording, Officer Scott Yates approached and asked for his cell phone, saying it was evidence. After Duchine refused, he was handcuffed and issued a ticket for obstructing justice. Video of the incident was then posted on YouTube.

The number of earthquake above 6.0 M reached 77 on March. And 74 out of them occurred in quake-hit region, were aftershock. The number is 50 times over the same period last year.

Authorities in Japan on Friday announced a research findings which indicated chain earthquake over 9.0-magnitude might hit Japan and its offshore area.

A massive 9.0 magnitude earthquake hit off the northeastern coast of Japan on March 11, 2011, triggering a massive tsunami which caused alerts to go up along the pacific basin.

The National Police Agency reported at 10:00 a.m., April 8, the death toll rose to 12,731. The number of reported missing declined to 14,706.

The operator of Japan's strickenFukushima nuclear plant said Tuesday that it had found radioactive iodine at 7.5 million times the legal limit in a seawater sample taken near the facility, and government officials imposed a new health limit for radioactivity in fish.

The reading of iodine-131 was recorded Saturday, Tokyo Electric Power Co. said. Another sample taken Monday found the level to be 5 million times the legal limit. The Monday samples also were found to contain radioactive cesium at 1.1 million times the legal limit.

The metals soared today breaking out across the board with mining stocks starting to follow. It appears that we have hit the target of 1455 which I had called out when gold was trying to break out of the big cup and handle formation around 1100.

The bulls need to stick the breakout, and resist any attempts to break back down again, and set up the next leg up to $50 Silver and $1590 Gold.

I think it will take a stock market crash to stop this advance which is intimately tied to global monetary expansion and a corrupt financial system.
